“Most convicted felons are just people who were not taken to museums or Broadway musicals as children.”

Currently, I am enjoying the fast life of New York City. Two days after I arrived I made my way to the Upper East Side (home to Woody Allen films and Gossip Girl socialites) to enjoy the excitement of the Museum Mile Festival. This NYC festival is held on the second Tuesday of June every year, and I was ecstatic not miss this one. With camera in hand and a friend nearby I toured the Frank Lloyd Wright models and impressionists at the 'Gugg' (our petname for the fabulous Guggenheim) and traversed many blocks to visit the fabulous "Dutch Seen" exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York. The perfect first Tuesday consisted of masks, and of course art.
Two works by Hendrik Kerstens from "Dutch Seen"
Top Left: Napkin Top Right: my friend 'A' enjoying the work

Bottom Right: People seemed to be enjoying the chalk art festivities. This word jumble read, "THE WORLD DOESNT ALWAYS MAKE SENSE AT FIRST GLANCE"
Bottom Left: Mask is the New Black
